#Gmod prop hunt mod
So if you have Garry's Mod but haven't tried this little gem out yet I suggest you give it a go. It's a fun time with a few friends together, but can sill be enjoyed alone. However, the adrenaline of having a Hunter search around the room you're set up in is cool, or you running for your life, frantically switching into different props to try and escape a hail of machine gun fire is a crazy load of fun, I will admit. Does anyone know any good Halloween themed prop hunt maps can’t seem to find many maps. Basically using the original Prophunt addon when I create a listen server then try to turn into a prop by pressing E, it just picks up the prop. For those who don't know what prop hunt is, prop hunt consists of two teams, one team are known as the props and can disguise themselves as props such as rings, plants and monitors. On your own, still pretty fun, though I hope you're able to text people while you're hiding in a good spot because staring at the screen and not moving for 5 minutes isn't exactly the most exciting thing ever. help cant change into any props on prop hunt Ive googled this but the given solutions seem to be a couple years old and I cant find the a file. This is a custom game mode I've been working on since 2.2 first came out to port the popular game mode from GMOD and TF2 called prop hunt. So that's the idea, but what do I think? Well, the game is fun. Think of it like Spot the Difference if it was 3D, bigger and you shot the differences with an assault rifle. You need to take it slow, explore room by room and try to find all the Props. Credit goes for the original authors of both gamemodes and who made Prop Hunt compatible with GMOD 13.
So, you can't just go around shooting everything you see. Problem is, every time you shoot an object that ISN'T a sneaky Prop, you lose health. You have 5 minutes to find all the props on the map. Now, as a Hunter, it's a little different.
You then turn into that object and must blend in with your surroundings to hide from the Hunters. The aim of the game is rather simple.Īs a "Prop" your job is to quickly run, find an object like a cup, a box or a wardrobe. Prop Hunt is a simple game mode for the infamous Garry's Mod.
